How to Live Naked and Unashamed [podcast]

The real me!

If we ever hope to see a day when the naked body is no longer taboo, if we ever hope to live in a society where not wearing clothes is as common a sight as shorts and sandals, we need to take bold steps and stop hiding who we are. If you call yourself a nudist or naturist, or if you’re just someone who hates wearing clothes, like I do, take pride in it. Let your friends, family, and coworkers (if you can do so without being ostracized) know where you take your vacations and how you prefer to live. Don’t just talk about nudism — show them you’re a nudist! Let them see the real you. We will never normalize our naked selves if we are too afraid to let the world see who we are, genitals and all. The more time we spend naked around others, the more we will find acceptance.

  1. I’ve said much the same for a long time. The hidden resort nudism has prevented generals acceptance of nudity and worked against all of us. Out of sight, out of mind.

That which is never seen become unseeable or “wrong.” The opposite is also true. That which is seen, even infrequently, rapidly becomes unremarkable and “normal.” To make human bodies acceptable in public we nudists have to go out and be seen in public often enough for most people to occasionally see a naked person. In my own life I go naked in public places all summer with the intention of being seen by many people. And, what would surprise most resort nudists, very, very few of the clothists I meet have any objections. Some even applaud. A few want to take their picture with me. I also post naked selfies on Social Media every day. The more we are seen naked, the more acceptance we will get.

The Resort Recreation nudist industry has had the effect of making general nudity more and more taboo by preventing us from being seen in public. That is deliberate. Their whole business model depends on forcing pay-for-play resorts as the only way to be naked. AANR for example.

Glad to see you post. We all need to be out being seen and being seen and being seen until it become common to see unmasked humans.
